Meet Phil the Frog or Fill the Frog. Noun or verb you pick.
This little guy holds my Dawn dish soap. He's a bobble head. The little dragonfly bobbles as well. My kids named the dragonfly and the little pink flower, but I can't remember their names. I'm sure they will forgive me. At least I hope they will.
When we sold almost everything that we owned and moved to Phoenix, AZ (Mesa, AZ technically) I bought this guy. He made me smile. That was 5 years ago. I still love this guy. Whenever I pump soap out his head flops around and makes me laugh.
We should only keep things that we love. No, we should only keep things that we love love love. There is a big difference. Your home will be filled with clutter if you keep things out of guilt. You know how much I love Flylady! Try her system - you'll be glad that you did.
I've been flying for about 10 years now. Sometimes I feel like I haven't made any progress, but looking at my home now and how much time it takes me to clean vs. 10 years ago I know that there is a huge difference. Clutter was the biggest problem. I kept things because I thought I had to. I bought things because they were cheap, not because I absolutely loved them. Things are just things!!! Except Phil/Fill....he's a part of the family.
My tip for the day: Keep only the things that you love love love. Unless it's your husband's clutter - you probably will never love love love that, but you can just move right along and focus on YOUR stuff - not his.
