One thing I had to add though....GOOD CHECKS!
This morning my son earned three good checks. We went out for "coffee" (or steamers) and then went to Walmart to pick up a few things.
He offered to help three different times. I do expect my kids to help, but offering to help before I ask them to to do something, gives them good checks.
They still have to pick up after themselves, but they don't have to do an additional job at home if they have good checks.
The system is working much better now that we added the praise to the mix (duh!).
Hey, that's great that you're still at it! And it's all coming together. Congratulations! You should get extra good-mommy points for that!
