Listening to Your Family

When you are the person responsible for cooking for your family, make sure you ask your family if there is anything they would like you to make.

Since I'm not serving pasta all the time anymore, my kids decided that they'd really like to make some garlic penne pasta.

When I asked my husband what desert he wanted me to make (besides cookies) he asked for scotcharoos....not too many because they are addicting, but just a few...well, depending on how many the kids are going to eat.

Here's what I got out of his rambling statement...enough so he gets his craving satisfied, but not so many that it's too tempting. We made scotcharoos for Father's Day...soon I will make him cookies because he loves those as well!
