ButterYum posted a comment on my yogurt post. As I was browsing her beautiful blog about food, I saw that she had posted a recipe for iced coffee. I had my leftover coffee as usual, but used her tip to use a blender to mix it. OH MY! HEAVENLY BLISS!!! The cream that I used got all frothy and sweet! So here is my new updated version:
- Don't let anyone drink all of the coffee (or try making cold pressed coffee like ButterYum does on her blog)
- Later on in the afternoon, grab your 1940's style blender and pour in some cream (try to find pasteurized cream, not ultra pasteurized as there are funky ingredients in the ultra version). I've only been able to find this at Walmart.
- Make it frothy.
- If you want to add some sweetener try adding just a bit of honey. I buy local raw honey that tastes so much better than regular honey.
- Pour your coffee over ice, then add the cream.
- Enjoy!
